Every now and then, I wonder how my life will look in a few years. Having to get a university degree and later finding a job feels so foreign right now, but it will inevitably come.
The past few months, I've really been going out to parties, functions, and stuff like that, and it has really been amazing. I can't even comprehend how many new amazing people I've met and how many memories and inside jokes there are that I will remember for a long time to come.
I really think that the people I've met now will stick with me for years to come, even though some are from different cities. And even if they don't - the memories will most certainly never fade.
With all the shit going on around the world and around us in general, I really think that if you're a teen, you should go out and have fun. Of course, you'll sometimes get into trouble, but you won't be young forever, and if you don't make memories now, there probably won't be a good time anymore.
Life is precious, and you never know when it will end, that's why I love the saying to live every day like it's your last, because you never know what life will serve you.
And I'm not saying you can't go out and be young at 25, you sure can, but as you get older, there are more responsibilities you have to take into account, meaning you can't be as careless as when you are 13-17.
And while you shouldn't necessarily be too careless and dedicate your whole life to partying or doing stupid shit, I've found a great balance of doing both :)
When I'm a parent, I'll definitely allow my kids to go out because I know that they will make memories for life. But I know I'll still worry like my parents did and like my friends' parents do/
But still, you never stop making memories, however old you are. So go out and do stupid shit, get drunk off your ass. However old you are. Just don't get arrested :D
You have only one life, live it to the fullest, but still be cautious (enough) :)
