Managing Time And Ideas
After a conversation with Amin, CJ Pokowitz and Joel I decided to write about managing my time, once again. This time, I'm in high school, so things are a bit different.
Before, I used to wake up at around 7 AM, but nowadays I wake up at 6:10. It takes me a lot of time to commute to school. There's also obviously a lot more schoolwork to do so recently I've been finding ways to manage all that.
Like last year, I added my school schedule to my calendar, so I always know how much time I spend in school and how much I have to spare. School starts at 7:30 in the morning schedule and ends around 1:30 PM. While in the afternoon schedule, I begin at 1:30 and return at around 8 PM.
I always do my schoolwork when I come home (or if I'm on the afternoon schedule, before school). On some days, we have a lot more of it than others, but it's mostly just homework or sometimes research work.
I use my reMarkable a lot now, and since we can use it in class on most subjects, it's been handy to have one central way to access my notes. Plus it's much easier to manage than having paper notebooks, and it feels like paper! (not sponsored by reMarkable, xD)
I also use Todoist for my task list. I've been thinking of doing it on paper but Todoist will do for now.
As for ideas (for blog posts especially) I mostly write them down, or if I have time, write about them that moment because that is when I have the most motivation.
So I conclude that all you need for an organized life is a calendar, a to-do list, and a notebook to write down everything you need :)
